People with a particular Life Path tend to be drawn to certain kinds of careers. By calculating your Life Path number, you can determine which kind of jobs will be the best fit for you. And as many spiritual paths suggest, the secret to happiness and success in your Job is to do what you love.

Your Life Path is your primary number in Numerology. It's equivalent to your Sun sign in Astrology. You calculate your Life Path by adding together all the digits of your full date of birth, and then repeating the process until you get a single digit. This process is called fadic addition. For example, actor Orlando Bloom was born on January 13th, 1977, so his Life Path is a (2) as shown below.

01-13-1977 = (0 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 7) = (29) = (2 + 9) = (11) = (1 + 1) = (2)

People with this life path love the limelight. They are very self-confident and love interacting with other people. They are drawn to careers in: entertainment, modeling, athletics, hoteliers, tourism, and any form of job with public speaking attached to it. They will shun jobs where they are forced to work in complete isolation from people.

People with this life path have a strong attention for detail and practical good sense. They are drawn to careers in: Computers, accounting, banking, insurance, building work, and driving. They will shun jobs where there is a great deal of unpredictable risk involved.

People with this life path are born salesmen, and talented communicators. They are drawn to careers in: public relations, sales, photography, television, radio, and the internet.

People with this life path derive great pleasure in doing good for society and humanity as a whole. They are drawn to careers in: journalism, broadcasting, teaching, interpreting, counseling, and child guidance and protection. They will shun jobs where there is no benefit to the community involved.
